Our Santa Ana office is growing, and we need an Associate Petroleum Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative petroleum engineering group and report to the petroleum engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Santa Ana location.
What you’ll do
- Plan and optimize well completions and production
- Perform reservoir and decline-curve analysis
- Monitor field performance and recommend workovers
- Prepare economic evaluations for development projects
- Coordinate with geoscience and operations teams
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering
- Experience with reservoir or production engineering
- Strong economic analysis skills
- Familiarity with industry software such as Petrel or ARIES
Nice to have
- Unconventional reservoir experience
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Santa Ana, CA is $113,000 – $144,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
