We are hiring an Associate Petroleum Engineer to join our petroleum engineering team in Oxnard. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Oxnard location.
What you’ll do
- Perform reservoir and decline-curve analysis
- Coordinate with geoscience and operations teams
- Prepare economic evaluations for development projects
- Monitor field performance and recommend workovers
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering
- Experience with reservoir or production engineering
- Willingness to visit field locations
- Familiarity with industry software such as Petrel or ARIES
Nice to have
- Unconventional reservoir experience
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Oxnard, CA is $115,000 – $146,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
