We are hiring an Associate Network Engineer to join our software engineering team in Modesto. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Modesto location.
What you’ll do
- Design, build and support enterprise LAN, WAN and data center networks
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot outages
- Configure routing, switching, firewalls and SD-WAN
- Document network designs and standards
- Automate network changes with Python and Ansible
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Clear documentation habits
- Strong routing and switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF)
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper or Arista platforms
Nice to have
- CCNP or CCIE certification
- Experience with cloud networking
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Modesto, CA is $98,000 – $125,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
