Our Columbia office is growing, and we need an Associate Network Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Columbia location.
What you’ll do
- Design, build and support enterprise LAN, WAN and data center networks
- Configure routing, switching, firewalls and SD-WAN
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot outages
- Document network designs and standards
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper or Arista platforms
- Firewall administration experience
- Clear documentation habits
Nice to have
- CCNP or CCIE certification
- Experience with cloud networking
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Columbia, SC is $71,000 – $90,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
