Our Glendale office is growing, and we need an Associate Mechanical Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative mechanical engineering group and report to the mechanical engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Glendale location.
What you’ll do
- Manage engineering change orders and documentation
- Run tolerance stack-ups and apply GD&T to drawings
- Perform FEA and hand calculations to validate designs
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing on design for manufacturability
- Build and test prototypes, then iterate on the results
- Design mechanical components and assemblies in SolidWorks
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Understanding of common manufacturing processes
- Hands-on prototyping and testing experience
- Working knowledge of GD&T
Nice to have
- Experience with injection molding or sheet-metal design
- Experience with ANSYS or Abaqus
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Glendale, AZ is $65,000 – $82,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
