The employer is looking for an Associate Manufacturing Engineer in Santa Ana, CA. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced industrial & manufacturing engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Santa Ana office.
What you’ll do
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Write work instructions and process documentation
- Design fixtures, tooling and work cells
- Drive scrap reduction, cycle-time and cost improvements
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement
- CAD skills for fixture design
- Strong problem-solving ability
Nice to have
- Experience with automation and robotics
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Santa Ana, CA is $76,000 – $96,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
