As an Associate Manufacturing Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the industrial & manufacturing engineering team works. This position is based in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Lead PFMEAs and root-cause investigations
- Design fixtures, tooling and work cells
- Write work instructions and process documentation
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Drive scrap reduction, cycle-time and cost improvements
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement
- Strong problem-solving ability
- CAD skills for fixture design
Nice to have
- Experience with automation and robotics
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $76,000 – $97,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
