As an Associate Manufacturing Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the industrial & manufacturing engineering team works. This position is based in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Write work instructions and process documentation
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
- Drive scrap reduction, cycle-time and cost improvements
- Lead PFMEAs and root-cause investigations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Experience in a production manufacturing environment
- CAD skills for fixture design
Nice to have
- Experience with automation and robotics
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $78,000 – $99,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
