The employer is looking for an Associate Manufacturing Engineer in McAllen, TX. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced industrial & manufacturing engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our McAllen office.
What you’ll do
- Lead PFMEAs and root-cause investigations
- Write work instructions and process documentation
- Drive scrap reduction, cycle-time and cost improvements
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement
- Strong problem-solving ability
- CAD skills for fixture design
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Experience with automation and robotics
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in McAllen, TX is $59,000 – $75,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
