The employer is a contract manufacturer producing precision metal components and assemblies.
Our Cleveland office is growing, and we need an Associate Manufacturing Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative industrial & manufacturing engineering group and report to the industrial & manufacturing engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Cleveland office.
What you’ll do
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
- Design fixtures, tooling and work cells
- Lead PFMEAs and root-cause investigations
- Write work instructions and process documentation
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Experience in a production manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving ability
- CAD skills for fixture design
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Experience with automation and robotics
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Cleveland, OH is $59,000 – $75,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
