We are hiring an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to join our industrial & manufacturing engineering team in Akron. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Akron location.
What you’ll do
- Write work instructions and process documentation
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
- Design fixtures, tooling and work cells
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement
- Experience in a production manufacturing environment
- CAD skills for fixture design
Nice to have
- Experience with automation and robotics
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Akron, OH is $57,000 – $72,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
