The employer is looking for an Associate HVAC Design Engineer in New York, NY. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare and education buildings
- Support construction administration and commissioning
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and mechanical codes
- Experience with load calculation software
- Experience producing construction documents
Nice to have
- PE license
- LEED AP credential
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $81,000 – $103,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
