Our New York office is growing, and we need an Associate HVAC Design Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative mechanical engineering group and report to the mechanical engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare and education buildings
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
- Select equipment and write specifications
- Support construction administration and commissioning
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- Strong coordination skills
- Experience producing construction documents
- Experience with load calculation software
Nice to have
- Experience with energy modeling in eQUEST or IES
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $84,000 – $107,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
