We are hiring an Associate HVAC Design Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in Austin. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Austin office.
What you’ll do
- Support construction administration and commissioning
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare and education buildings
- Select equipment and write specifications
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and mechanical codes
- Experience with load calculation software
- Experience producing construction documents
Nice to have
- Experience with energy modeling in eQUEST or IES
- LEED AP credential
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Austin, TX is $71,000 – $90,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
