The employer is looking for an Associate Geotechnical Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Oklahoma City office.
What you’ll do
- Analyze foundations, retaining walls and slope stability
- Plan and oversee subsurface explorations and laboratory testing
- Coordinate drilling subcontractors and field staff
- Observe earthwork and foundation construction in the field
- Write geotechnical reports with design recommendations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- Strong soil mechanics fundamentals
- Willingness to work in the field
- Experience writing geotechnical reports
Nice to have
- PE license
- Master’s degree in geotechnical engineering
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Oklahoma City, OK is $58,000 – $74,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
