As an Associate Geotechnical Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in Minneapolis, MN. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Minneapolis office.
What you’ll do
- Observe earthwork and foundation construction in the field
- Analyze foundations, retaining walls and slope stability
- Coordinate drilling subcontractors and field staff
- Write geotechnical reports with design recommendations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- Willingness to work in the field
- Strong soil mechanics fundamentals
- Experience writing geotechnical reports
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in geotechnical engineering
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Minneapolis, MN is $62,000 – $79,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
