Our Port St. Lucie office is growing, and we need an Associate Front-End Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Port St. Lucie location.
What you’ll do
- Champion accessibility and usability across the product
- Work with back-end engineers to define clean API contracts
- Translate designs into reusable components and maintain the shared component library
- Measure and improve page performance and Core Web Vitals
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience writing automated tests for front-end code
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Production experience with React or a comparable framework
Nice to have
- Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA audits
- Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Port St. Lucie, FL is $78,000 – $99,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
