As an Associate Front-End Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Write unit and end-to-end tests for user-facing features
- Translate designs into reusable components and maintain the shared component library
- Work with back-end engineers to define clean API contracts
- Measure and improve page performance and Core Web Vitals
- Champion accessibility and usability across the product
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces in React and TypeScript
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Production experience with React or a comparable framework
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Working knowledge of HTML semantics, CSS layout and browser developer tools
Nice to have
- Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering
- Familiarity with design systems and Figma
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $109,000 – $138,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
