As an Associate Front-End Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Austin, TX. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Austin location.
What you’ll do
- Champion accessibility and usability across the product
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces in React and TypeScript
- Write unit and end-to-end tests for user-facing features
- Measure and improve page performance and Core Web Vitals
- Translate designs into reusable components and maintain the shared component library
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Production experience with React or a comparable framework
- Experience writing automated tests for front-end code
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering
- Familiarity with design systems and Figma
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Austin, TX is $88,000 – $112,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
