The employer is looking for an Associate Front-End Engineer in Albuquerque, NM. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Albuquerque location.
What you’ll do
- Champion accessibility and usability across the product
- Measure and improve page performance and Core Web Vitals
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces in React and TypeScript
- Work with back-end engineers to define clean API contracts
- Write unit and end-to-end tests for user-facing features
- Translate designs into reusable components and maintain the shared component library
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Production experience with React or a comparable framework
- Experience writing automated tests for front-end code
Nice to have
- Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering
- Familiarity with design systems and Figma
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Albuquerque, NM is $80,000 – $102,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
