Our Yonkers office is growing, and we need an Associate Field Service Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative mechanical engineering group and report to the mechanical engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Yonkers location.
What you’ll do
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
Nice to have
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Yonkers, NY is $61,000 – $77,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
