As an Associate Field Service Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Strong customer service skills
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Nice to have
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $71,000 – $91,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
