We are hiring an Associate Field Service Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in Jersey City. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Jersey City location.
What you’ll do
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Willingness to travel regionally
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Nice to have
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Jersey City, NJ is $61,000 – $78,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
