The employer is looking for an Associate Field Service Engineer in Columbus, OH. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Columbus location.
What you’ll do
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Willingness to travel regionally
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
Nice to have
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Columbus, OH is $53,000 – $68,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
