As an Associate Environmental Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the environmental engineering team works. This position is based in West Valley City, UT. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our West Valley City location.
What you’ll do
- Write compliance reports for state and federal agencies
- Plan and run site investigations and remediation projects
- Prepare air, water and waste permit applications
- Advise clients on environmental regulations
- Collect and interpret soil, groundwater and air samples
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering
- Field sampling experience
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (or able to obtain)
- Strong technical writing
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with PFAS investigation or treatment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in West Valley City, UT is $63,000 – $80,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
