The employer is looking for an Associate Environmental Engineer in Charlotte, NC. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced environmental engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Charlotte office.
What you’ll do
- Advise clients on environmental regulations
- Collect and interpret soil, groundwater and air samples
- Write compliance reports for state and federal agencies
- Plan and run site investigations and remediation projects
- Prepare air, water and waste permit applications
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering
- Knowledge of EPA and state environmental regulations
- Field sampling experience
- Strong technical writing
Nice to have
- Experience with PFAS investigation or treatment
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Charlotte, NC is $59,000 – $75,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
