As an Associate Energy Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the energy engineering team works. This position is based in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Conduct energy audits of commercial and industrial facilities
- Model energy-saving measures and calculate payback
- Write reports and present results to clients
- Run measurement and verification of completed projects
- Design solar PV and battery storage systems
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering
- Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills
- Experience with energy modeling tools
- Knowledge of building systems and energy efficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with incentive programs
- CEM or PE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $84,000 – $107,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
