We are hiring an Associate Energy Engineer to join our energy engineering team in Chicago. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Chicago office.
What you’ll do
- Run measurement and verification of completed projects
- Write reports and present results to clients
- Design solar PV and battery storage systems
- Conduct energy audits of commercial and industrial facilities
- Model energy-saving measures and calculate payback
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering
- Knowledge of building systems and energy efficiency
- Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills
- Client-facing communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with incentive programs
- CEM or PE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Chicago, IL is $68,000 – $86,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
