Our Tacoma office is growing, and we need an Associate Electrical Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative electrical & computer engineering group and report to the electrical & computer engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Tacoma location.
What you’ll do
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
Nice to have
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Tacoma, WA is $83,000 – $105,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
