The employer is looking for an Associate Electrical Engineer in Portland, OR. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Portland location.
What you’ll do
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
Nice to have
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Portland, OR is $74,000 – $94,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
