The employer is looking for an Associate Electrical Engineer in Chicago, IL. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Chicago location.
What you’ll do
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
Nice to have
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Chicago, IL is $75,000 – $96,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
