Our Chicago office is growing, and we need an Associate Electrical Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative electrical & computer engineering group and report to the electrical & computer engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Chicago office.
What you’ll do
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
Nice to have
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Chicago, IL is $76,000 – $97,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
