The employer is looking for an Associate DevOps Engineer in Los Angeles, CA. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Los Angeles location.
What you’ll do
- Take part in an on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
- Harden infrastructure and automate security patching
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let teams ship safely several times a day
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills
Nice to have
- Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
- Experience with service meshes
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $101,000 – $129,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
