As an Associate DevOps Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Jacksonville office.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let teams ship safely several times a day
- Harden infrastructure and automate security patching
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills
Nice to have
- Experience with service meshes
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $83,000 – $106,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
