The employer is looking for an Associate DevOps Engineer in Des Moines, IA. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Des Moines office.
What you’ll do
- Take part in an on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills
Nice to have
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
- Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Des Moines, IA is $84,000 – $106,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
