The employer is looking for an Associate DevOps Engineer in Charleston, SC. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Charleston office.
What you’ll do
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Take part in an on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let teams ship safely several times a day
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
Nice to have
- Experience with service meshes
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Charleston, SC is $84,000 – $107,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
