Our Phoenix office is growing, and we need an Associate Data Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative data engineering group and report to the data engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Phoenix location.
What you’ll do
- Work with stakeholders to turn reporting needs into data products
- Monitor data quality and fix pipeline failures quickly
- Model data in dbt so analysts and data scientists can rely on it
- Optimize warehouse cost and query performance
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics or a related field
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse
- Experience with an orchestration tool such as Airflow or Dagster
- Understanding of dimensional data modeling
Nice to have
- Experience with Spark or Flink
- Experience with data contracts or data observability tools
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Phoenix, AZ is $85,000 – $108,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
