We are hiring an Associate Controls Engineer to join our electrical & computer engineering team in New York. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Integrate robots, vision systems and safety devices
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs for automated equipment
- Design control panels and electrical schematics
- Commission equipment on site and train operators
- Develop HMI and SCADA screens
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Experience programming Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs
- Willingness to travel to job sites
Nice to have
- Experience with FANUC or ABB robots
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 13849)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $84,000 – $107,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
