The employer is looking for an Associate Controls Engineer in Milwaukee, WI. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Milwaukee location.
What you’ll do
- Design control panels and electrical schematics
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs for automated equipment
- Develop HMI and SCADA screens
- Integrate robots, vision systems and safety devices
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience programming Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Commissioning experience
Nice to have
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 13849)
- Experience with FANUC or ABB robots
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Milwaukee, WI is $63,000 – $81,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
