The employer is looking for an Associate Controls Engineer in El Paso, TX. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our El Paso location.
What you’ll do
- Integrate robots, vision systems and safety devices
- Commission equipment on site and train operators
- Develop HMI and SCADA screens
- Design control panels and electrical schematics
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs for automated equipment
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Commissioning experience
- Willingness to travel to job sites
Nice to have
- Experience with FANUC or ABB robots
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 13849)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in El Paso, TX is $65,000 – $83,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
