We are hiring an Associate Civil Engineer to join our civil engineering team in Spokane Valley. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Spokane Valley office.
What you’ll do
- Support construction administration, including submittal review and site visits
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong technical writing skills
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Nice to have
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Spokane Valley, WA is $76,000 – $96,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
