Our Spokane Valley office is growing, and we need an Associate Civil Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative civil engineering group and report to the civil engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Spokane Valley location.
What you’ll do
- Support construction administration, including submittal review and site visits
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Strong technical writing skills
Nice to have
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Spokane Valley, WA is $79,000 – $101,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
