The employer is looking for an Associate Civil Engineer in San Diego, CA. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our San Diego location.
What you’ll do
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Strong technical writing skills
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
Nice to have
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Diego, CA is $82,000 – $104,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
