As an Associate Civil Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in Pembroke Pines, FL. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Pembroke Pines office.
What you’ll do
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Support construction administration, including submittal review and site visits
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Strong technical writing skills
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Pembroke Pines, FL is $65,000 – $82,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
