As an Associate Civil Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in Antioch, CA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Antioch office.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Support construction administration, including submittal review and site visits
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong technical writing skills
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Antioch, CA is $80,000 – $102,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
