The employer is a civil engineering and land surveying firm supporting residential and commercial development.
Our Amarillo office is growing, and we need an Associate Civil Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative civil engineering group and report to the civil engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Amarillo location.
What you’ll do
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Support construction administration, including submittal review and site visits
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Strong technical writing skills
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Amarillo, TX is $68,000 – $87,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
