As an Associate Chemical Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the chemical engineering team works. This position is based in Mobile, AL. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Mobile office.
What you’ll do
- Design and scale up chemical processes from pilot to production
- Take part in process hazard analyses
- Support capital projects through commissioning
- Size equipment and prepare process design packages
- Simulate processes in Aspen Plus
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Knowledge of separations and reaction engineering
- Understanding of process safety
- Experience with process simulation software
Nice to have
- Pilot plant experience
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Mobile, AL is $65,000 – $83,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
