The employer is looking for an Associate Chemical Engineer in Houston, TX. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced chemical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Houston office.
What you’ll do
- Take part in process hazard analyses
- Support capital projects through commissioning
- Design and scale up chemical processes from pilot to production
- Simulate processes in Aspen Plus
- Size equipment and prepare process design packages
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Knowledge of separations and reaction engineering
- Experience with process simulation software
- Understanding of process safety
Nice to have
- Pilot plant experience
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Houston, TX is $73,000 – $93,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
