The employer is looking for an Associate Chemical Engineer in Fontana, CA. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced chemical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Fontana location.
What you’ll do
- Design and scale up chemical processes from pilot to production
- Support capital projects through commissioning
- Simulate processes in Aspen Plus
- Size equipment and prepare process design packages
- Take part in process hazard analyses
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Understanding of process safety
- Knowledge of separations and reaction engineering
- Experience with process simulation software
Nice to have
- PE license
- Pilot plant experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Fontana, CA is $84,000 – $106,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
