The employer is looking for an Associate Chemical Engineer in Fontana, CA. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced chemical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Fontana office.
What you’ll do
- Support capital projects through commissioning
- Size equipment and prepare process design packages
- Take part in process hazard analyses
- Simulate processes in Aspen Plus
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of process safety
- Knowledge of separations and reaction engineering
Nice to have
- Pilot plant experience
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Fontana, CA is $85,000 – $109,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
